The Outlands is a location in The Lion King Universe.
Information[]
In the movie, Simba's Pride, the Outlands where first introduced. In the beginning of the movie, the Outlands was home to many lionesses (and two male lions) that have been exiled by Simba. They were exiled because each one stayed loyal to Scar. The inhabitants of the Outlands are known as Outsiders or Outlanders. The leader of the Outsiders is Zira. Zira is the mother of Nuka, Kovu, and Vitani. The Outlands's terrain is mostly dessert-like, thus it having very few trees and plants, and little water.
The first glance of the Outlands is shown when Kiara looks curiously into the Outlands from the Pride Lands.

The Outlands is located beyond the Pride Lands and the Elephant Graveyard.
Leaders[]
The only leader was Zira, after she died, the Outsiders joined with the Pridelanders and came together as one.
